Mendel bij de Leij is an audio engineer and composer based in The Netherlands and also known as the ex-guitarist of the death metal band Aborted.
As a 3x time winner of “Best Film Score” at the 48hrs film awards Mendel has made a name for himself as a film score composer.
Besides film scoring Mendel is a dedicated mixing/mastering audio engineer and has worked for clients signed to Listenable Records and Season of Mist amongst others.
He has worked with bands like Aborted, Haliphron, Severe Torture, Dessiderium, Rose Funeral, Zeolite and Nader Sadek to name a few.
